Cecil guides all operations, delivery and client service for xwave Professional Services in the Province of Nova Scotia. With over 25 years of IT experience, he has held senior IT positions with leading Canadian organizations such as Maritime Life, Maritime Medical Care and, most recently, CGI, where he was Senior Vice President, Business Engineering for the company’s Atlantic and Western Canadian operations. In addition to his significant private-sector credentials, he also draws from 12 years in IT management with Government of Nova Scotia, and has collaborated extensively with Government partners and clients while in his private-sector roles. He is currently a member of the Halifax Chamber of Commerce, with past community involvement ranging from the Metro Halifax United Way to Skills Canada – Nova Scotia, which helps provide youth with career opportunities in technology and trades. Cecil attended Saint Mary’s University and holds a Computer Science Degree from the DeVry Institute of Technology.
