Louis is responsible for xwave activities in Québec and, more specifically, the Dossier santé du Québec project: one of the largest interoperable electronic health record (iEHR) initiatives in Canada. In addition to being recognized for his outstanding customer service and extensive knowledge of the healthcare industry, Louis has a broad background in IT project management, planning and supervision of IT projects. Before joining xwave, Louis was President and CEO of New IT Santé from 2003 to 2008, Executive Vice-President of Mindready Solutions for two years, and General Manager of Bell Professional Services, a division he created in 1995. He was Chair of the Association of Health Technologies Industry from 2006 to 2009 and now sits on the Board of the Canadian association MEDEC (Canada’s Medical Device Technology Companies).
